Hose down your digital connections with the Hosen network security hub

As the world is inundated more and more with connected objects, more and more personal information is at risk. The worst part about it: most don’t have a clue what information of theirs is actually at risk!

The Hosen is a virtual castle moat for your information, effectively filtering all the connections being made to and from every single device on your network for malware, advertising, viruses and hacking attempts. Hosen gives users a dashboard to make keeping track of every single connection easy using just a few taps, with the ability for users to block or authorize any of them as they see fit. It can also generate event reports for user review, anonymize browsing sessions and protect devices outside the home, not to mention Hosen’s multi-user support for different profiles, which is useful in a family setting. A Hosen device starts at $100 with a six-month subscription and is expected to ship June 2017. Its flexible Indiegogo campaign is looking for $50,000 by December 2nd, 2016.

The Hosen iterates on products like the iGuardian or the Tego in that it offers much more granular control over the connections being made, multi-user support, and protection to devices outside the home, as well. All that iteration comes at a cost, though: the latter devices don’t come with fees attached while the Hosen does. A small price to pay, its developers may say, for the peace of mind that comes with knowing your information and devices are well guarded.
