The Sirius B combines some pretty decent technical specifications— an Intel Atom Bay Trail quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 2 USB ports, HDMI 1.4 out, 32GB of flash storage, dual band Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth connectivity—all in a slim, smartphone-esque design that comes in at just 4.2oz. This combination makes the Sirius B a true desktop-class computing device that fits in the pocket. $214 gets backers a Sirius B with Windows 10 preinstalled along with a 64GB SD card for expanded storage by December 2015. The company is looking for $10,000 by December 7th, 2015.
Freelancers, business owners, and travelers will all appreciate the capabilities and design of the Sirius B, even if it still needs to be hooked into a monitor and connected to a mouse. As such, its no surprise there’s an extremely similar product in the Kangaroo mobile PC. While its similar, super portable design calls to mind the Sirius B, an additional dock allows one to keep things to an absolute minimum when on the go or when using the device with Bluetooth accessories and a four hour battery for those moments when its not possible to plug it in. It also costs quite a bit less at $99. But the on-the-go crowd can rejoice in the choice.
