Kangeaux calls it a wrap, lets small objects hang out with you

Sometimes it’s the little things in life that help to make life flow and roll along. For example, without car keys, things get pretty stationary. Having other important little things organized and gathered into one convenient spot, like your wallet, phone and other small essentials also plays into this. For those who seem to have too many loose ends to easily tie up, here is a product that can lengthen the rope. Kangeaux is a universal carrying apparatus for small items. How this is much of an improvement on something like a fanny pack or backpack (rucksack) isn’t entirely clear. However, if backers are looking for a way to simplify, it might be worthwhile to check out the Ruitbag, Funnell, and Jayster campaigns. This campaign seeks to raise $10,000 by December 1, 2014. Early bird backers get one product in their color choice of blue or pastel for $18, with an expected delivery of January 2015.

Cablestop is a small cylindical weight to tame your cables

Desks are notorious for wires shooting out all over the place making a messy work environment. It’s hard to keep them all organized as we continue to add more devices to the mix. Cablestop is like a paperweight for your wires. It’s small and discreet, using little slots to slide the wires through. This product comes in several different colors. In addition, Cablestop doesn’t use any type of magnet or adhesive so it can be adjusted easily. To use, simply snake through one or two wires.

Each Cablestop only holds up to two wires, which is good from an organizational perspective, but not so great from a financial perspective. The typical backer with a cluttered desk will probably need at least two to tidy up. One will cost backers $21 AUD (~$18 USD) for delivery in April 2015 from Australia. This product is looking to raise $29,000 AUD (~$25,000 USD) on Kickstarter. Some backers may opt for a more do-it-yourself approach to the wire situation by using binder clips as wire holders. For the less creative, however, Cablestop is a nifty little solution to your clutter problems.

Z-Charge keeps your phone and tablet bedside so they won’t hog the blanket

For those who can’t bear to be parted from their gadgets to the point that they even sleep with them, there is now an option to allow owner and gadget to share the bed…sort of. Z-Charge is a cloth-looking unit that stretches across the bed under the mattress. Velcro strips and the mattress on top help to hold it in place. Three pockets hang over the bed on either side, allowing for up to six gadgets to be charged at once via USB ports, and the entire unit simply plugs into the wall to power the chargers.

It appears to be fairly universal overall, with pockets of multiple sizes on each side to accommodate a total of two eReaders, two tablets and two iPhones. This campaign seeks to raise €40,000 (~$50,000 USD) by November 20, 2014. For €44 (~$55 USD), backers get one product with an expected delivery of March 2015, and a Christmas postcard stating that it is on the way for those who may want to use it for a gift.

AirSafe Carryon neatly organizes your goop to get past the snoop

For those who are still willing to tolerate airport patting, petting, scanning and being otherwise treated as though they are one step above being a convicted felon, here is a product that aims to keep travelers in compliance with that three ounces of liquid rule. AirSafe Carryon is basically a toiletry bag that lets travelers tote their favorite products without the worry of running into issues of leaking at high altitudes. It uses small hexagonal compartments made out of plastic for liquid storage. If one is only going to be gone for a couple of days or so, this is a great idea.

Otherwise, it seems that it makes more sense to carry larger portions of those products in checked luggage, or better yet, just buy necessary items upon your arrival. Still, one of the foremost worries of liquid travel is leakage, so AirSafe Carryon may be just the ticket for those unwilling to have their clothes smell like perfume forever. This campaign seeks to raise $10,000 by November 19, 2014. Backers get one product for $48, with an expected delivery of March 2015.

Untitled Rail makes a name for its space as a portable clothes rack

Living in a small dwelling can having its advantages, however, one of the drawbacks is always lack of closet space. Untitled Rail not only solves that issue, but also offers ease of portability for those who change locations frequently. Made from 2mm thick carbon steel, Untitled Rail still has a nice appearance because of its powder coating paint finish. It also comes in two sizes: the smaller measuring H150 x D32 x W40cm (59×12.5×15.7in), while larger is H150 x D32 x W82cm (59×12.5x32in). The larger one is recommended for use as the main hanging rail. Both items lean against the wall, and hopefully stay upright better than it appears that they would. When it comes time to wash those clothes, backers might want to consider DryAway vertical hanging rack for drying them. In the meantime, The Untitled Rail campaign seeks to raise £3,500 by November 3. For £99, early bird backers get a rail in their choice of a black or blue, and may choose either the smaller or larger options. Please keep in mind that this product will ship in four parts to minimize shipping costs.

Super Bag Holder helps you grip the groceries

Going to the grocery and dealing with all those bags might be one of the more annoying necessities in life. Toting bags from the car to the house, or perhaps from the store to one’s home can be not only inconvenient, but sometimes a bit rough on the fingers. That’s where Super Bag Holder comes in. The plastic handles are touted as being created from a high-grade, fully recyclable plastic. They appear to clip onto plastic and paper bags easily enough, and are supposed to support a bag weight of up to 30 pounds. In addition, they seem to remain securely in place once attached, and appear to be smooth, compact and lightweight for easy storage in a car glove box, purse or perhaps a jacket pocket. While this does seem like a good idea, there are several similar options from which to choose that are already out in the market. This campaign is seeking to raise $26,000 by November 1, 2014.  For $8, backers get one product in time for Christmas. Super Bag Holder hopes to raise $26,000 during their campaign.

Abacus coffee pod rack aligns your pods in hanging squads

Most of us use Keurig machines or something quite similar. As a result, our cupboards are inundated with K-Cups, pods, and other products. The Abacus Pod Rack goes in the kitchen and attaches to the underside or just side of any cabinet. Coming in several colors, this rack won’t be an eyesore. It stores columns of pods/cups to make choosing the perfect beverage easier. To insert, slide up and in. To remove, just pull each cup out. It holds up to 36 pods and attaches with adhesive strips. One of these Aussie products will cost $19 AUD. Abacus hopes to raise $15,000 AUD on Kickstarter.

With the prevalence of convenient coffee machines in people’s home, this product makes sense for storage. It’s more for the beverage enthusiast who has lots of different flavors for their brewer. There are lots of other storage options out there, however, like the DecoBros organizer that keeps K-Cups in a mini drawer. Nonetheless, Abacus comes with the perk of keeping your counters clear by adhering to cabinets. While this may be more for the finicky of heart, it’s a great storage solution for those little pods that fuel America.

Runband lets you take your essentials as you exercise

Lots of pockets are essential for storing all the important little things in life. Runband lets active and busy people have what they need right at their fingertips: pens and pencils, pocket knife, small flashlight, even a small water bottle that can be stowed right on the user’s arm! Black netting with elasticity helps keep essentials secure during even the most extreme activities – whether that’s a party where a blended dance genre of hip-hop- break dancing is the hot activity or extreme sporting activities. The product seems to offer a great deal of convenience whether in an urban, suburban or rural setting, and nothing particularly bulky or larger than what fits in a 5.5” pouch is going to be necessary for one’s outing. The pouches are made of cotton, so while they will offer some breathability, they will also retain sweat longer than a polyester-spandex blend. For $40, backers get one product with an expected delivery of March 2015.

Bartender’s bag brings the booze

B-bagWhether it’s a private poker game with friends, a business-style cocktail party, or an on-the-go bartender into tradeshows and competitions, B-bag (Bartender’s Bag) can help keep an event spirited. The bag holds up to eight bottles comfortably, or a combo of bottles, mixing glass and shaking tin, plus has plenty of pockets for other drink mixing essentials. It’s made of high-quality canvas with leather handles and is hand washable. Perhaps the most convenient aspect is the adjustable insert that allows for a great deal of toting flexibility. While an eight-bottle limitation will require knowing guest drink preferences, the apparent versatility of the bag seems like it would make for a worthwhile investment for pros. For $325 backers get one bag with an expected delivery of December 2014.
