The Bag Rack provides hooks for bags in your trunk, lets you hang ’em high

It seems that the car trunk is one in which disorganization tends to rule for most people. This can make grocery shopping for a family rather complicated. That’s why The Bag Rack was invented. The product is very easy to install and requires no tools. While this seems like an interesting idea that could bring much needed convenience on grocery day, it’s not clear what the width of the product is, or with which car trunks it would be most compatible.

For those who travel to the store a lot in their cars, especially those with a hatchback, know that groceries tend to slide around in the back willy nilly. So, having a holder that takes up no cargo room, but keeps things in place would be a welcome addition to any frequent grocery goer. Other grocery helps in which backers might be interested include the Super Bag Holder, and Grocery Pal campaigns. This campaign seeks to raise $25,000 by December 24, 2014. Early bird backers can get one product for $15 with an expected delivery of December 2014.

Flat-pack shelving structure organizes in a giant hexagon

Shelving units pretty much come in one shape consisting of horizontal parallel shelves that hold your stuff in a straight line. Ruche offers a different look. Shaped like a hexagon, this shelving unit has seven slots able to fit anything from shoes to pots and pans in the kitchen. According to the campaign, these shelves only take seven minutes to assemble. For moving or reorganizing, the shelves fold completely flat for ease of transport.

This Israeli product is not only practical, but also features a hidden Star of David in its center for more spiritual backers. Ruche comes in either cardboard or aluminum and each material boasts three different sizes: small, medium and large. The campaign does a great job of displaying all the different ways Ruche can be used and is convincing in showcasing the product’s usefulness and versatility. You’ll also get your choice of color with a $65 donation for a small aluminum Ruche with an estimated delivery date of February 2015. This product is looking to raise $15,000 on Kickstarter.

Gneiss Spice tidies up culinary toys for creating tasteful delights

Some people say that spices are toys for those who love to cook. They’re essential to creating a great meal, but all of those little bottles have a tendency to clog up kitchen cupboards. Gneiss Spice can make organizing them and actually using them much easier. Lids are magnetic so that spices can be stored on the refrigerator or some other convenient metal surface near the stove. It’s also possible to get a plate to go with these – assumedly metal, though that is not clearly stated.

One of the especially interesting goals of this campaign is to allow those who are interested to create their own custom spice rack for manufacturing. Interested backers might also want to check out the Mobin,  campaign, and those who love their fresh herbs may want to check out the Ecofarm and Herb Grower campaigns. This campaign seeks to raise $10,000 by December 8, 2014. Backers get three jars for $25 with an expected delivery of December 2014.

Allin combo poker chip and drink holder helps keep you high and dry

Poker is one of those games that resonates with those who are competitive, good at reading people, and enjoy the excitement of risk and thrill of victory. But nothing can make a game go bad faster than when someone spills their beer all over the poker table. That’s why Allin was invented. The combo poker chip beverage holder allows players to not only keep their chips organized, but also keeps beer from flying across the table. The product holds up to 100 chips and can hold a standard, individual sized can or bottle of one’s beverage of choice. Consolidated table space means more room for munchies, and more importantly, keeping score – although with all those organized chips, everyone will probably pretty much know who is winning whether the scorekeeper is accurate or not. And when the night is over, or has turned to morning, holders can be stacked up and stored until everyone who lost has gained enough money to gather again later. This campaign seeks to raise $8,500 by December 1, 2014. Backers get one product for $12, with an expected delivery of December 2014.

CampCaddy thinks in the box with a rolling storage and camping table

One of the greatest challenges when camping is all of the planning, packing and organizing that has to be done, especially for families with several small children. CampCaddy was designed with the busy family in mind. It’s a table, small pantry, camping storage container, and all around organizer blended into one unit. While it won’t do the cooking, it will store everything you need in a simple package. The handle and wheels make for easy toting to the campsite, while towel racks help to keep messes under control. CampCaddy can be easily modified to fit both a day at the county park or a longer camping excursion. The lightweight unit is made from injection molded plastic, has aluminum features, an aluminum top for easy cleaning, and fits easily into the trunk of a standard sized car. This campaign seeks to raise $200,000 CAD (~ $175,500 USD) by December 1, 2014. Early bird backers get one product for $200 CAD (~$175 USD) with an expected delivery of May 2015.

Abacus coffee pod rack aligns your pods in hanging squads

Most of us use Keurig machines or something quite similar. As a result, our cupboards are inundated with K-Cups, pods, and other products. The Abacus Pod Rack goes in the kitchen and attaches to the underside or just side of any cabinet. Coming in several colors, this rack won’t be an eyesore. It stores columns of pods/cups to make choosing the perfect beverage easier. To insert, slide up and in. To remove, just pull each cup out. It holds up to 36 pods and attaches with adhesive strips. One of these Aussie products will cost $19 AUD. Abacus hopes to raise $15,000 AUD on Kickstarter.

With the prevalence of convenient coffee machines in people’s home, this product makes sense for storage. It’s more for the beverage enthusiast who has lots of different flavors for their brewer. There are lots of other storage options out there, however, like the DecoBros organizer that keeps K-Cups in a mini drawer. Nonetheless, Abacus comes with the perk of keeping your counters clear by adhering to cabinets. While this may be more for the finicky of heart, it’s a great storage solution for those little pods that fuel America.

PoPots stack up colorful personalized organization

PoPotsFor those who hate wrapping gifts, here is an idea that is creative and allows for a bit of personalization. PoPots are stackable rubber baskets that come in multiple sizes and colors. And for that extra added personal touch, add a PoTee that says something like Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Gone Fishing, and Gone Crazy. Well, maybe not that last one, but there are 50 options that will soon be available. They seem like an ideal way to organize the tiny things that always seem to wind up underfoot in a child’s room. Backers may choose their size and color of PoPots for $30 and look forward to receiving them in November of 2014.

WrapAround keeps your power cords in order

WrapAroundMessy cords can be an eyesore and tangle causing broken devices and inconvenience. Some products come with their own bread tab to gather cords with, but they don’t always work well. The WrapAround is a cord organization system. It is designed to gather cords neatly and each WrapAround clips together so that multiple cords, such as those needed for a television system can stay together in nice, organized bundles. For a set of four, backers can shell out $10 early or $12 at a regular price. WrapAround needs to raise $17,500 in a month long Kickstarter campaign to reach its goal.

Stick n Store shelves your K-Cups, makes 2014 a space poddity

Stick n StoreIf it seems that your kitchen space has somehow been taken over by the clutter of food and beverage boxes, Stick n Store may very well help you to regain control. The storage units mount easily to the inside of a pantry and cabinet doors via industrial mounting tape. While the kitchen decluttering pods may give you multiple ideas for what they could hold, the company specifically had coffee pods and K-cup boxes in mind when designing these tools of organization. For $18, backers have to postpone their jitter lifters with an expected delivery of October 2014.
